The MorE 4x4 Mounting Crossmember (beam for underbody protection) for the Toyota Land Cruiser J90 (short vehicle version / 3-door, suitable for all engine variants from model years 1996 to 2002) is the crucial mechanical link for mounting the extremely robust transfer case protection of the 90 series on your shorty.

Since the underbody protection plates for the transfer case (reduction gear) are primarily designed by the manufacturer for the frame geometry of the long 5-door (J95), this vehicle-specific mounting beam closes exactly this gap. Only by using this crossmember does it become possible to securely and stably bolt the protection plates to the factory frame points of the short 3-door.

Together with the appropriate transfer case protection, this system can be mounted completely independently and separately, without the need for other underbody protection components (such as front engine or main gearbox protection) to be installed on the vehicle.

🛠️ Important Compatibility Note – Only in conjunction with a skid plate: This product is a pure mounting accessory (fastening crossmember). To effectively protect the transfer case of your Land Cruiser J90, you also need the actual skid plate. Therefore, simply order one of the following skid plates from our shop, depending on the engine type and material preference:
